Each shipment also comes with instructions and plans for assembly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"\u003eThese ends are designed to be installed onto a maker-supplied board of wood so that you can have a straight edge, a ruler and or a story stick.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"\u003eThey come in two sizes\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"\u003eThe wide set is about 2 3\/4\" wide\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"\u003eThe narrow set about is 1 5\/8\" wide\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"\u003eYou can make the sticks as long as you would want them and out of any hardwood that makes you smile. My goal was to create a handplane that would solve the shortcomings of these planes as well as a way for them to be adjustable due to wear over time.
