Wood By Wright Shipping Policy

Thank you for your order! At Wood By Wright, every physical item is handled with care from our workshop directly to yours. We appreciate your support of a small, craftsman-run business. Please read the following policy to understand how we handle shipping for all our products.


 

1. Digital Goods Delivery

 

This section applies to all downloadable or streamable products, such as project plans (PDFs), e-books, and video courses.

  • Instant Delivery: There are no shipping costs for digital goods. Immediately after your purchase is complete, you will receive an email containing a secure link to download your files.

  • Trouble Accessing? If you do not receive the email within an hour of your purchase, please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still cannot find it, please contact us at JamesWright@WoodByWright.com with your order number, and we will ensure you get your files promptly.


 

2. Physical Goods Shipping

 

This section applies to all tangible items, such as hand tools, apparel, jigs, and accessories.

 

2.1. A Personal Touch & Processing Time

 

Every single order is personally prepared, packaged, and shipped by me, James Wright. This ensures the highest level of care, but it also means that processing times can vary.

  • Standard Processing: Under normal circumstances, please allow 2-4 business days for your order to be processed and handed off to the shipping carrier.

  • Travel Delays: As a traveling woodworker and teacher, I am occasionally away from the workshop for events or classes. During these times, shipping may be delayed for up to one week. 

 

2.2. Shipping Methods & Rates

 

We strive to offer reliable and reasonably priced shipping options.

  • Carriers: We primarily ship via USPS and UPS for both domestic and international orders.

  • Calculated Rates: Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your location. You will be able to review the shipping cost before finalizing your purchase.

 

2.3. Estimated Delivery Times (After Shipment)

 

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. The following are estimated delivery times and are not guaranteed:

  • Domestic (USA): Typically 3-7 business days.

  • International: Typically 2-4 weeks, but can vary significantly depending on the destination country and its customs process.


 

3. International Orders

 

We are happy to ship our physical goods to fellow woodworkers around the globe.

Important Note on Customs, Duties, and Taxes: The recipient of an international shipment is responsible for all customs fees, import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. These charges are levied by the destination country's government and are not included in the item price or shipping cost from Wood By Wright.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to placing your order. We are legally required to declare the full value of the items on customs forms and cannot mark packages as "gifts" to avoid these fees.


 

4. Order Tracking & Address Accuracy

 

  • Tracking: You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

  • Address Accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address for accuracy when placing your order. Wood By Wright is not responsible for packages lost or returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
