Several Kit Options to Choose from

Adjuster and yoke

This Kit Includes the Adjuster knob, the fine stud, and one file to fit the yoke. This way, you will get the finest adjustment money can buy with all the slop removed. Using the file to fit the yoke with the fine thread larger adjuster, you will be able to dial in exactly what you want easily. Wedge Kit

The Wedge Kit includes both the 50-degree and the 55-degree wedges and all of their screws and washers. Both wedges are designed to fit Stanleys and can probably fit in most other brands, though we have not been able to test all of them. This wedge will allow you to plane with a higher angle and still use your chipbreaker without having to buy a whole new frog. The installation is fairly simple and can be done in a few minutes. We also include a set of longer screws as every casting is a bit different. and a second set to connect the frog to the wedge. This will give you options so you can choose between easier pushing of the lower angle and the controlled cut of the higher angle. The whole Kit!

This kit includes one of everything! You will receive one file to fit yoke, one split yoke, one 55-degree wedge, one 50-degree wedge, and one fine adjuster with stud. This will allow you to do a complete makeover on your old Stanley. A bit about REED Planes:
Reed Planes was developed from my frustrations of using Stanley planes and old tired Norris planes. My goal was to create a handplane that would solve the shortcomings of these planes as well as a way for them to be adjustable due to wear over time. I have adapted many of my improvements for replacement parts that can easily modify a Stanley handplane.
